Ferrets For Sale

I breed Ferrets from March to around late July, September, all our ferret kits are well handled and fed on a complete ferret food in the Summer and some Rabbit in the winter, The Ferret food I recommend to feed is Alpha Ferret Feast, Petstopboys Ferret Food or Maddog Ferret Food, these feeds are high in protein and this is what the ferret needs, Why I feed dry complete food in the Summer is because raw meats cause flies to swarm and lay eggs on the meat, and this can lead to food poisoning, plus irritation to the ferrets them selves. Feeding your ferrets complete feeds does on no way effect their working abilities, a good working ferret works  because it wants to, not because it is hungry, I always feed our ferrets before I go out on a days ferreting, hungry ferrets means the ferret goes to ground and sometimes kills in the burrow and eats it's fill and goes to sleep and that means digging more often than not.
